Story:
A cute tale that begins with Balu Mahendra(Naga Chaitanya) being a study nerd and is very much concern about his rankin his studies. He wants to be top at all times. The tale takes a turn when Mahalakshmi(Tamannah), his “maradalu” joins in the same college in which he is studying. Initially she struggles a lot to cope up with studies but with the help of Balu she improves a lot and at one time she even defeats him in terms of ranks. At one stage the elders decide to get balu and mahalakshmi married. But their egoes and difference in opinions divides them apart. What happens next forms the rest of the story.
Performances:
Naga Chaitanya has done a decent job yet he has to improve a lot interms of dancing and dialogue delivery. Tamannah was awesome.She has scored 100% both in performance as well as beauty departments. Naresh was natural, Dharmavarapu brought some smiles. Others were effective in their roles.
Positives:
*The way director has dealt the story line is too good.
*Tamannah’s performance and looks are assets to the movie.
*First half goes on with fast pace and is entertaining.
*Songs were superb.
Negatives:
*Second half walks on a slow pace.
*Emotional scenes did not give much feel.
*Comedy is not to the expected level.
Verdict: An extraordinary youth entertainer…!!!
